4-H Longhorn Cross
Kelsy Hepfner with her crossbred 4-H heifer “Jangling Ice”

This year Kelsy Hepfner has joined the Telford 4-H Multi Club. For her beef project, she has chosen a heifer out of a Texas Longhorn cow and sired by a Black Angus bull. Last weekend, the 4-H club had speech competition and Kelsy spoke about the “Value of a Texas Longhorn”. She did extremely well for her first time and even received a comment from a judge quoting “I do not own Texas Longhorns but after listening to your speech, I want to go out and buy some.” Well done Kelsy!
